~All about MONA's "M" Word~

lollll...so I went blog-hunting today during my study break (somn I hardly ever get to do) and amusingly I stumbled on somn sweet regarding a topic I like to talk about a LOT...
It's about the "M" word...

What've have u got to say abt that? You can go ahead and ask MONA @ her SPOT RIGHT HERE ...lol

The funny thing is she didn't really emphasize any thing big, it was just the sweet nothings about the post that made it exciting to read, oh well...read it for urself, and decide what stage u are...

ps: today has been a very lovely day...I'm just enjoying the moment. Yeah, like one of my earlier posts said, "just live each day to the fullest," and continue from there. It's always nice to take a chill pill, slouch back on a comfortable arm-chair, sing songs (or hum to songs), maybe study (or NOT), and the most important of all, just reflect on ur innermost thoughts. I wonder what people do when they don't....errr...think! *Ouch* I totally dread the state of a 'blank mind.' It's very futile and wasteful...even Job knew there was such a thing as the strength of wisdom in the mind...

Job 38:36

"Who has put wisdom in the mind? Or who has given understanding to the heart?"

Hope y'all are having the most wonderful day. Stay away from idleness and having a blank mind. Think back at a time when ur mind was totally empty (zero/blank). It was a horrible experience right? Put your intelligence to work...today...
Just a lil interesting side gist: maybe this nice stuff I found on the New York Times today will help bloggers who are finding telling the truth on blogger a lil bit crazy. It talks about how this is the age of dissonance and the truth must be told, but still as manners require some things shd be left un-said: go HERE. (comment on what u think if u read the article)

Signed: urs truly.

The NY times article was quite interesting...

My friends normally say I'm too blunt...
Well I guess sometimes you don't have to say something about something...

BTW, nice post

@ Naijabloke...I see uuuu...

@ Nilla...yeah, I support honesty in full force. Its what I live for, can't deny myself. But then, it's good to be wise with our choice of words...I'm thinking James 1:19..."be swift to hear, but slow to speak." Nilla, did I tell u I loved ur spirit? There's just somn in ur zeal...keep it up...(and I'm sure I don't even know the full picture)...

love your post.......there are definately some 'truths' that need to be kept to one's self(i guess that's where wisdom comes in)

Jennifer A. said...

@ Vera...yes o...sleeping counts naw...(lemme go medical on u)...during the REM, or dream sleep-- the brain is engaged in unique processes that stimulates more activity when the person wakes up). People that lose their sleep tend to lean towards having a mental disorder (according to research)...he he...lemme stop there....

@ Funmi...u hit the nail on the right spot...

Though there's nothing as liberating as telling the truth (or saying things as one sees them) for people who have conscience, it's also wise to be conservative in spilling it out. You could get a barrage of hate for doing it.
Some weeks ago I almost got beaten up by a soldier in a gas station for saying things as they are. So you see, it could cost one more to say the truth than to keep mute atimes.

@ anthony...or in other words...there are wise ways to say what's really on your heart sometimes...sometimes we have to speak up to make people see things from our point of view, but at the same time...if the point of view does not make sense or if it will cause even MORE trouble, then why bother?
