"I would do anything for love..."

LOLLLL....reminiscing abt this back in the day song. Do u guys remember this line? "I would do anything for love, I'll run right thru hell and back...."

Lolll....gosh, when I was in high school I used to love all these romantic songs like crazy...seriously, who'll run right thru hell and back for love? So if they wanted to amputate ur boyfriend/girlfriend's leg, would u gladly take their place??? I didn't think so...

Alright, I know the guy was just singing in retrospect, but I just had a moment of reflection...as in I was walking to get lunch before my next class (which by the way is about to start right now), and I suddenly found myself singing, "I would do anything for love...I'll run right thru hell and back," and I was just wondering how that song came into my big (small) head...hmmm...

Although you think you might not be able to lay down your life for love, there're other crazier, sillier things one does for love ;-).

I still love love songs. The difference is that now I know they are just songs

Makes me remember dem times. God will have a lot of forgivenness to do. Love songs were very viable tools then. I think I've simply outgrown it.

I don't know. Sounds like marriage (sometimes). And if we aren't singin' the song, we may not make it through the hard times.

To be honest, they are just words...not everyone can really do everything these love songs tells us(not even the composer)...but like I.I.barkat wrote,"...if we aren't singin' the song, we may not make it through the hard times."
