***Nobody Knows me like He does*** (Friday verse series)

**This post is part of my new friday verse series. This is post #3***

Psalm 139: 13-16 "For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. My frame was not hidden from You, when I was made in secret, and skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, the days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them."

Doesn't it feel good when you have someone that loves you, who claims he knows you better than you know yourself. Thats when all the girls get squirmy and all lovey-dovey & puppydog-eyed. He can even complete your sentences before you're through the 3rd word in the sentence. He doesn't need to pay you a penny for your thoughts, he already knows them because any time you stand before him, it feels as though he sees your naked soul...even without uttering a word...

Although these descriptions can fit two people involved in a relationship, there's Someone greater who it can fit more perfectly. In human relationships, there's always some sort of gap. Yes, your partner may know you very well, but there are times when you want to scream and ask him why he didn't figure something out about you a long time ago...considering the fact that you two have been together for a long time...

But in that scripture, God reveals to us that He knows the depths of our hearts like the back of His hand. "For He formed my inward parts," there's no part of your body God doesn't understand, He created it.

"In Your book, they all were written, the days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them..." basically, even before you started living one day, God took a pen and wrote about you. He knew the part of your vessel that could make you cry, and He knew the people that would break you and those that could make you. He knew you had the ability to be hot-tempered, but with the right touch you would get back to normal again. He already went ahead of you to see when that break-up would happen...to see when you would get married...to see how and what you would name your children. He is ahead of the game...He sees you becoming more mature every single day...

***Since He knows you more, why don't you love Him more?***

I love this post....

Why don't we love Him more?
Because we don't remember/listen to his word.

Hmmmm...This post reminds me of a song..."He knows my name
He knows my every thought
He sees each tear that falls
and He hears me when I call."...We need to love God more in action....He says in his word for us to love him with all our heart and with all our soul and with all our mind. If we love him we'll keep his commandments.

Been on your medical blog too. Well done. I liked the posting about the doctors' new-looks.

'Orthodox medicine has no answer for this, but lucky for you I'm a quack'. That's a funny one.

In His time, jaycee, He'll make all things beautiful.

As always I am inspired by your writing...I truly respect the fact that your being in the medical school, does not stop you from sharing with us, how you have been touched by God's word.
"Blessed are those who hunger & thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled." (Matt 5:6)
