***And there was also BLOOD in SODOM***

"Ok, wait a second. Wasn't she right to think what she was thinking? She actually thought His blood was shed at "Golgotha?" It was Golgotha right? Or it was also called Calvary?...yes, it was. No, seriously though...she read that He walked through those crowds of people, fell down a couple of times, got laughed at, spat at, and mocked at...and finally arrived at a place called Golgotha. But now, she was reading a different book. She was reading the book of revelation and she wondered if there was an ERROR somewhere. There must be! Alas! Ha ha! She thought she had found an error in the bible. She giggled, then she looked again...

Revelation 11:8 said, "And their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified."

This is a joke right? Jesus was NOT crucified in Sodom, and neither was He crucified in Egypt. The person that wrote this had got to be JOKING!!! It wasn't until the Holy Spirit began to teach her slowly that she realized that there can never be an error in this BOOK of all books. God slowly began to teach her certain things..."
The word 'Sodom' signifies a place of 'hideous sins.' Sins that cannot even be pronounced. Sins that are worse than anything we can ever think of ~ Was it prostitution? It was done in Sodom. Was it incest? It was done in Sodom. Was it immoral sex? It was done in Sodom. Was it murder? It was done in Sodom. Infact, any sin you want to think of was done in Sodom...thats why Sodom and Gomorrah had to be burnt into ashes (forever!!!!).
The word 'Egypt' stands for bondage.

These two words were inspired and were NOT not erroneous. They represent the fact that no matter how HIDEOUS you think your sin is...the BLOOD OF JESUS was shed for you. No matter how much in BONDAGE you think you are in...the BLOOD OF JESUS was shed for you. There is POWER in the BLOOD OF JESUS to wipe out every hideous crime that we've committed. The blood was shed in Calvary/Golgotha...but it was also shed in Sodom and Egypt...the places that represent the greatest sins you have ever committed. The blood can wipe off anything...you just have to believe you've been forgiven and start living a life of freedom and joy! Aren't you happy you're not in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah? You would indeed have been burnt into ashes along with the city...but no, Sodom and Gomorrah is history and Jesus came after that to prevent you from getting burnt. Now, no matter how hideous your sin is...the BLOOD OF JESUS has the potency of making it impotent! Infact, saying that Name makes everything tremble, innit? (I can invisibly see you nodding your head).

This is a true life revelation. The woman it was revealed to was Pastor Nike Wilheims, and she revealed it to us on sunday, March 18th, 2007. The blood was shed for whatever represents Sodom and Egypt in your life. You alone knows what your greatest sins are...(all sins are equal in God's eyes, but there are some things you've done that makes you TICK when you think about how you could have allowed yourself to do such a thing). It's okay now...you can start SMILING...

***It is FINISHED***

That is extra-ordinarily deep my friend. And the funny thing is that I was talking about Sodom the other day with a bunch of friends, expelling the term "sodomy" and classifications. I never saw Egypt as being captive till now..... but I so see it, like I drank some enlightenment juice or something.

THANKS

A couple of hymns come to mind:

a. The Blood will NEVER lose its power
- The refrain says: It reaches to the highest mountain. It flows to the lowest valley. The blood that gives me strength from day to day. It will NEVER lose its power.

b.There is power in the Blood
- The refrain says: There is power, wonder-working power in the blood of the Lamb. There is power, wonder-working power in the precious blood of the Lamb.

Thanks for sharing this message.

@ Kafo...lolll...same reaction I got when I heard her talk about it. I felt like I had never seen that scripture in my entire life, and yet I remember those notorious days when I claimed to have read the entire book of revelation!!! I laugh...I better go and read it again!

@ Mamarita...lol @ drinking an 'enlightening juice,' nice way to put it...lolll...(me too o)!

@ Niyi...ehennnn...so u are also a SERENADER (lol, for lack of a better word)...basically I'm figuring out that u can "SANNNGGG!" Basically any man who can sing in worship to God is a man that can serenade very well...in order words...visit cherub's blog again...lolll...

@ Favored girl, I know...its just such a relief. I know there have been some things I've done in my past that if not for the blood of Jesus, I won't be here right now. I'm definitely no saint!

@ Naijadude...yes o, guess what? I'm done with the exams...ready for our special one-on-one (*wink*).

@ Calabar girl...tell me abourrrrit!!!

@theLife...yes o...the deepest darkest things that no one else knows but us...

Thats why its such a shame when people feel like they've attained. The blood of Jesus brings ALL of us down to our knees... "for ALL have sinned and fall short of the glory of God..."

I hope your test went well. Shalom

I didn't know Egypt stood for bondage.

True, the blood of Jesus is powerful. I normally say "the blood of Jesus" when I feel I'm in sudden danger and of course that phrase also makes it way into my prayers sometimes.

Have a wonderful rest of the week!

There is POWER in the the blood of Jesus... The blood of Jesus is a phrase that's been overflogged, and thankfully, the good Lord doesn't mind...

America seems to be today's Sodom...or maybe not. My friend in Ireland told me that America is so bad that when God decides to destroy the world, He will start with America.

Well, I'm thinking of relocating back 2 Nigeria. LOL

When Jesus was crucified, he was already carrying the sins of the world, that was why his father couldn't hear/ deliver him when he cried unto him. In other words, sin seperates us from God and makes us "dead" spiritually. But thank God for the precious blood of Jesus that was shed on the cross at calvary over 2000 years ago.

Sodom and Egypt not only signifies all that u said, but also it represents a place of eternal seperation from God. But for his grace and mercy, i'm not worthy to stand before his throne of grace. Thank you for sharing this message with us. I'm sure u murdered cardio yesterday.

@NIYI: U've got me singing now, there's power, power wonder working power in the blood tralala

@JAYCEE: U're unstoppable sha. Before Niyi starts thinking i sent u (lol).

@ Niyi...ha ha...I'm having too much fun with you and Cherub...u guys shd look good together (loll, I know she's on her way to...errrmmm...beat me up). I'm still learning how to play the guitar o. My friend OWNS the guitar, so I have to learn how to play it at her house. And errrrmmm...the process is really slow cos I have school at al!

@ Nilla...yes, it does signify bondage, because the Isrealites had to be freed from Egypt into the promised land. At least, thats my own explanation. Hope u're having a less stressful week Nilla...I miss ur playful blog! Don't stress out this week, ok?

@ Nyemoni...God sure doesn't mind...lol...thank God!

@ Vera...lolll...relocate to Nigeria? Errrmm...I've started hearing some things, and I think Nigeria is also leaning towards that direction. The best thing to do would be to make sure that you, your family, and as many people as you can reach in your community know whats right, and PRACTICE it...you can be the influence in your community, as opposed to running away...LOLLLLL...madam Vera. I've still not checked my schedule for you. I'll send u an email tonight jare/plus, I gotta finish ur book since I started Chapter 1...~muah~
