*** This post is part of the friday verse series. May you be a different flower pot today, different from that of the last post...growing, nourished, flourishing, but most of all, being beautiful with each passing day.***
"So here she was, a different flower pot. There she was a different person. She thought about an empty flower pot, and then she taught about her life. She wanted her life to be different. She wanted to be brand new. She wanted to be the opposite of an empty flower pot; she wanted to have a stem, many branches, and many flowers. She wanted the sweet-smelling aroma of her flower pot to attract "favor" for her every where she went. But this time, she wanted to be the aroma of God. But she's learning every day that you can only become a fully flourishing beautiful flower pot when you digest the word of God everyday. The Word is the seed, the digestion is what forms the stem, and practicing it produces the branches and the flowers. But she was ready to start NOW, better late than never!"
Psalm 1:
Blessed is the man
Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
Nor stands in the path of sinners,
Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;
But his delight is in the law of the LORD,
And in His law he meditates day and night.
He shall be like a tree
Planted by the rivers of water,
That brings forth its fruit in its season,
Whose leaf also shall not wither;
And whatever he does shall prosper.
***And according to your decision of what flower pot to become, whether full or empty, whatever you do shall or shall not prosper.
Do you choose to prosper this friday?***

I choose to prosper today,to stop making excuses for not reading His Word...I insist on being nourished and remaining in step with Him. Thanks for this message babes,hope you have a great weekend.
Yes, I did...and I still am having a great weekend (maybe a lil too much fun...LOLLLLL...)
May God increase your INTIMACY with Him in Jesus Name. Amen. Reach out to Him because He's already reaching out to you...

i choose to prosper
thanks once again
I definitely choose to prosper. How did the exams go?
wow....you have really inspired me. I have made up so many excuses for not reading my Bible daily.
#1. It's KJV and I don't understand
#2. it's too big and I'm always on the go
#3. I want to get another one but either don't have the money/time to look for it.
I have definitely got to stop making excuses, I looked online and there are so many cute compac Bibles, one is right next to my fave shoe store sef, so I can kill two birds with one stone =)
@ anonymous, lolll...thank God for that determination...that just MADE MY DAYYYYY...trust me, u can do it too. I remember a while back when I had to make that decision too. Now, every single morning I wake up, it's a decision I have to make...whether or not to grab my bible first before anything else.
Trust me, there's been times that I didn't read my bible (so I've not been exactly perfect myself), and I gave the flimsy excuse of having class at 8am in the morning...
...but those times I did read my bible, what I found out was that God made it possible for everything to WORK OUT ~ it felt like I had ample time to read it (by waking up early), shower, and make it on time to class, with just enough minutes before class. I therefore declare that it is POSSIBLE to be determined, and God will help you do the rest...
yayyyyy...guess what guys??? Niyi, Uzo, and Nilla...I'm finally DONE. And when I say DONE, I mean DONEEEEE...I just finished my last exam for the semester like an hour ago...
I thank God for a beautiful semester and the start of another new beginning. Looking forward to 2nd year, but for now...I'm def off to my cozy bed...sleeping the WHOLE NIGHT LONG....
...and I pray God teaches us His Word now more than ever before, especially as we're all rolling into the SUMMER VACATIONNNN...wow! Can't believe it. I can finally breathe...and I can't wait for more of God's inspiration to bring His Word with youthful flavor to you guys...
~Cheers~
