**Tired of Saying Sorry**

How many chances in a lifetime could one get? I can't take this anymore. She screamed at the top of her lungs and threw all the items on the desktop, and they came crashing down to the floor. She was filled up with so much rage. "How many times will I say I'm sorry? I really didn't mean to do it. I didn't. I wish I could have stopped. I really do." She sat down on the couch, sinking low in defeat. She had promised. She said she won't. But she did it again. How many times would she say she was sorry? How many more chances did she have left? Life wasn't fair. Some had no chances, but she had been given more than a thrillion. Each morning she woke up, she had a brand new chance...a chance to make it right. But how many more chances did she have left?

****************************************************

The reason for Easter is to emphasize the significance of new chances. He walked with His eyes focused, to the place of sacrifices, to lose His life to give us one more chance. To eradicate the rule of judgement and to give us a new hope. To tell the adulterous woman, "go and sin no more, " and the one who has faith that, "your faith has set you free."

I can understand waking up each morning with tears in your eyes because you did something you very well know you shouldn't have done, because I've been there before, and it's not even a very long time ago from this post. But you know what? His mercies are new every morning, and that's why He died on a cross that wasn't His to carry. This message is one of forgiveness, but it doesn't just end there. It is about forgiveness and then transformation. You can't just have forgiveness, you have to 'change.' And yes, you can change. Yes, you can. And you can't do it by yourself. But from today, your eyes can be open to see the doors of escape from that cycle of sin you've been entrapped in. You have another chance today. Every morning you wake up is another chance.

*Don't give up. Don't be tired of saying sorry*
Let your easter be happy, let it show you that you have the God of second chances,
and third, fourth, fifth, unto...infinity.

Yep, i don't believe we should be tired of saying sorry. I liked this post. I spent the whole of today trying to apologize to someone. Even though it didn't work out (my attempts to apologize) at least i can go on with my life knowing that i tried.

Sting...exactly, now u can lie down in sleep peacefully because u know u tried. Humans may find it hard to forgive, but God is never tired of forgiving. I've never seen another God like this!

Olubern...every single morning I wake up, I feel refreshed to start another vibrant day. God is good o...lol.

It's like you're writing on my behalf. At times I feel like I've been forsaken but his loving arms are everly open.

Open to Embrace
Open to forgive

I hope that I do right and stop saying sorry all the time

Happy easter, and hope you had a peaceful one. As imperfect as we are, offending and being offended is part of our make up.Saying sorry, makes us acknowledge we are not flawless and our God said if any sins we should ask for forgiveness and He is always ready to forgive us.Let's not stop saying sorry when we should.

Sha...thanks girlie...

Guerreira...yes, I absolutely did. Thanks. I hope ur easter was celebrated well too. May you see God's face in this upcoming week...may his face shine upon you.

Olamild...I know how it feels to continue saying sorry for the same thing over and over again. But the good thing is that I know my change has come...it is not a permanent situation. People get deceived into thinking they cannot stop a monstrous cycle. But the blood of Jesus breaks cycle. It's a curse-breaker and a cycle-stopper. Lol. Thank God!!! Where would I be if not for His GRACE?

Truth...my sentiments exactly. Thanks. I pray u have a fabulous week ahead. :)

my dear we are of the new commandment, which is to Love our Lord and our neighbor. To love is to forgive, so it is not even an option. Plus when God blesses you so so much, I wouldnt want anything to hinder my answered prayers and my divine favor, and cause my Lord to not be happy with me! Everytime I get mad at someone, I stop and I hear His voice! That gets me in check very quickly.

Nice message...too many of us - myself included are always sorry yet never willing to change...Change is the missing link in our repentance and forgivemess process...

Such pretty, information-loaded blog. It's not meant to be passively read, like I just did...but anyhoos...

thx for stoppin by! And for my friend, *sighs, I can't push him sha, but I hope he's safe, in whatever God wishes to see him thru! LOL, but heck, he has to help himself first, not so.

Regarding your post, I'd hope our attaining forgiveness would continue to infinity cos in reality, the more we ask for forgiveness and try to adjust our ways, in about a short while, we end up doing those things we just asked for forgiveness for. It's pretty hard. But true, thank God for Jesus! :)

Hope you had a gbood hols...

peace
