A Little Background:
Eva Jenkins:
The one who starts the story. She was born on February 16th, 1959. In the year that she turns thirteen, her parents make the big move from Washington DC to the renowned city of Paris. The lively city of Paris soon becomes "home" to Eva's small family of three, and she absorbs every aspect of Parisian culture. She meets someone in Paris years later, and they become inseparable. This excerpt is about the beginning stages of a very deep conversation between Eva and her inseparable friend, Dibaba.
